Twenty printed wallpaper designs from a trade sample book produced by Smith & Smith Limited, Wellington. The book dates to the 1930s and was used by retailers to sell wallpaper to domestic customers across New Zealand.

The patterns include floral, geometric, botanical, and ornamental designs. Together they document the range of decorative options available to New Zealand households between the wars.
